ORIGINAL TORTA BAROZZI

THE PRIDE OF VIGNOLA SINCE 1886

The original Torta Barozzi is still today produced with a secret method in the family laboratory in the heart of Vignola. Dark chocolate, almonds and peanuts, eggs, butter and sugar, only first quality ingredients without preservatives or colouring agents, exactly as Eugenio made it. One of the buttonholes of the Italian gourmet tradition, it has become one of the most appreciated and imitated cakes in Italy and in the world.

MAIN INGREDIENTS

Dark chocolate, almonds, peanuts, eggs, butter and sugar, without either preservative or colouring agents.

HOW TO PRESERVE IT

Out of the fridge and at a room temperature for a period of the 40 days at the most

CURIOSITY

Remember to cut it upturned leaving the tinfoil in which it is wrapped before serving it!

TORTA MURATORI

BAROZZI STYLE IN WHITE VERSION

As Torta Barozzi , also Torta Muratori boasts only first quality ingredients, free from preservatives adn colouring agents. It is a dought made up of white almonds, sugar, eggs and butter, characterized by the lack of flour. The master confectioner’s ability together with the proportion of the ingredients used, make it a soft, very delicate cake. Its flavour is unique. It is packed in the classic ivory coloured box. It cames in three weights: 100 grams, 700 and 900 grams.

Crated by Agenore Gollini in 1930, Torta Muratori later was called with this name by Eugenio Gollini Junior, as a tribute to the historian Ludovico Antonio Muratori who was born in Vignola.

SPONGATA DEL NONNO

SPONGATA WITH A CHOCOLATE FROSTING TOP

A typical winter cake, a Christmas tradition of Emilia Romagna.
Its dough is rich in ingredients among which apple jam and orange marmalade, almonds, raisins, candied orange peels, pine seeds, peanuts, honey, cocoa, dark chocolate and sugar.

The Spongata del Nonno has a thick chocolate frosting top that makes it different from the classic “Spongata emiliana”. It comes in three weights: 500 grams and 750 grams packed in beige paper and the 1000 grams packed in the special cardboard box.
